...Y ellos se juntan #20 // Doble o nada #3: David Byrne + Fat Boy Slim

Delirante: David Byrne y Fat Boy Slim se alían para hacer un disco doble (Here Lies Love, 2010) dedicado a la vida de la esposa de un dictador, Imelda Marcos, y llaman a una manada de vocalistas para completar el invento. Tal vez la enorme cantidad de artistas invitados sea una metáfora que trate de emular el número de pares de zapatos que poseía aquella primera dama de Filipinas.

Confluye talento suficiente como para que haya alguna canción memorable, pero al final no parece posible sacudirse de encima aquella imagen clásica horaciana: la montaña rugió y parió un ratón. O más llanamente: para ese viaje quizá no hacían falta tantas alforjas.
